Adrián Holešinský

Early Life and Career

Adrián Holešinský, a Slovak hockey player, was born on February 11, 1991, in Košice, Slovakia. He began his hockey career with HC Košice but later joined the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Holešinský made an immediate impact, helping the Sea Dogs capture back-to-back QMJHL championships in 2011 and 2012.

Professional Career

Following his success in the QMJHL, Holešinský signed a contract with the Detroit Red Wings organization. He spent several seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Grand Rapids Griffins and Rockford IceHogs before making his NHL debut with the Red Wings in 2014. After brief stints with the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers, Holešinský established himself as a reliable bottom-six forward with the Charlotte Checkers and Bakersfield Condors.

International Career

Holešinský has represented Slovakia at various levels of international competition. He participated in the 2009 World Junior Championship, the 2011 and 2012 World Junior Championships, and the 2014 Winter Olympics. At the senior level, he has played in three World Championships (2015, 2016, and 2018), contributing with six goals and five assists.
