Tomás Eduardo Rincón Hernández (born January 13, 1988) is a renowned Venezuelan footballer who serves as the captain of the Venezuela national team and plays as a midfielder for the Italian club Torino.

Early Career and Rise through the Ranks

Rincón's football journey began with Unión Atlético Maracaibo. In 2007, he made a pivotal move to Zamora Barinas, where he appeared in 33 matches and scored once. His impressive performances earned him a contract with Deportivo Táchira in July 2008, which he extended until 2010.

German Adventure and Bundesliga Debut

On January 31, 2009, Rincón embarked on a loan spell with German club Hamburger SV. He made his HSV debut in the DFB-Pokal match against SV Wehen Wiesbaden on March 4, 2009. Four weeks later, he made his Bundesliga debut against TSG Hoffenheim, coming on as a substitute in the 87th minute. On December 10, 2009, Hamburg exercised their option to acquire Rincón's playing rights from Deportivo Táchira and signed him to a contract until June 30, 2014.

International Success and Recognition

Rincón's international debut came in 2008, and he has since become a mainstay in the Venezuelan national team. He played a pivotal role in Venezuela's fourth-place finish at the 2011 Copa América. Rincón's outstanding performance in the tournament earned him the prestigious title of "Best Player of the 2011 Copa América," receiving 65% of the votes.

Juventus and Beyond

In January 2017, Rincón joined Italian giants Juventus on a 3.5-year deal. He later moved to Torino in 2020, where he continues to showcase his exceptional abilities as a commanding midfielder.
