Tony Mills: English Musician and Singer
Tony Mills is an English musician and singer, best known as a member of the Norwegian hard rock group 'TNT'. Born in Solihull, England, Mills grew up in Birmingham. At the age of 14, he started singing in the punk band 'The Rip-Offs', and later joined the Birmingham punk group 'Cracked Actors' as a bass guitarist.

Early Career
In 1980, Tony transitioned to rock music and performed with guitarist Nik Lloyd in bands such as 'Overdrive', 'Orion', and 'Enigma'. In 1983, Mills joined the group 'Shy' and participated in the recording of four albums, including the highly successful 'Excess All Areas'. He also toured extensively with 'Shy', opening for Gary Moore, Meatloaf, Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi, and other notable artists.

Collaboration with Cinderella and Solo Career
During his touring days, Mills crossed paths with the Los Angeles band 'Cinderella' and even helped them record their debut album, 'Night Songs'. Mills left 'Shy' in 1991 to pursue a solo career. He released his first solo album in Manchester, with the assistance of sound engineer Andy Macpherson, guitarist Bob Maxim, and members of '10CC' and 'Sad Cafe'. Mills later collaborated with the band 'Siam' and contributed to the production of two albums, 'Prayer' and 'The Language of Menace'. After 'Siam' disbanded in 1996, Tony joined 'Rush'.
Return to 'Shy' and 'TNT'
In 2000, Mills returned to 'Shy' to record two more albums before releasing his own solo albums, 'Cruiser' and 'Freeway to the Afterlife'. He briefly joined the band 'The Sweet' as a bassist and vocalist, but eventually returned to 'Shy'. In 2006, Mills was invited to join the Norwegian group 'TNT' as the lead vocalist, replacing Tony Harnell. He participated in the recording of their album 'The New Territory', which received mixed reviews.
Success and Recent Work
In 2007, Mills showcased his talent as a backing vocalist on the debut album of the British band 'Crimes of Passion'. The album's success solidified his reputation as a highly sought-after backing vocalist. Mills continued to pursue his solo career and released the album 'Vital Designs' in 2008, which leaned more towards the metal genre. Despite health issues with his heart, Mills continued to perform and record music. He remains an active musician, collaborating with various bands and pursuing solo projects.
