Early Life and Education
Born on January 16, 1983, in California, Trevell Quinley developed an early passion for sports. He graduated from Merrill F. West High School in 2001 and went on to pursue his studies at Arizona State University from 2002 to 2005.
Early Career
While still in high school, Quinley competed in the 2002 World Junior Championships, finishing sixth in the USA Juniors. In 2003, he placed sixth at the Pac-10 Outdoors and 20th at the NCAA Outdoors. However, he improved significantly the following year, finishing fourth at the NCAA Outdoors.
Fluctuating Results
Quinley's performance fluctuated in 2005 and 2006, with intermittent successes and setbacks. Despite winning the bronze medal at the 2007 USA Outdoors and placing seventh at the World Outdoors, he faced disappointments in other competitions.
