Tsogo Morama: Botswana's Paralympic Champion
Early Life and CareerTsogo Morama was born on February 2, 1987, in Letlhakane, Botswana. As a short-distance runner in the T46 category, she represented Botswana in the 2000s.
Paralympic Triumph in Athens
In 2004, Morama made history as Botswana's first Paralympic athlete. At the Athens Paralympic Games, she stunned the field in the 400-meter race, claiming gold and setting a world record with a time of 55.99 seconds.
African and World Record Holder
Continuing her success, Morama won gold at the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algiers. She also established an African record in the 200-meter event.
