Early Life and EducationTuba Büyüküstün was born on July 5, 1982, in Istanbul. She completed her high school education at Doğuş High School, after which she pursued a degree in Costume and Set Design at Mimar Sinan University.
Career
During her university years, Tuba began appearing in commercials for well-known brands such as Pantene, Maximum Cart, Kremini, and Molped. She caught the attention of the renowned director Tomris Giritlioğlu, leading to her debut in the television series "Sultan Makamı". She then went on to appear in the series "Çemberimde Gül Oya" and the films "Gülistan" and "Father and Son".
Rise to Stardom
Tuba Büyüküstün gained widespread recognition with the release of the television series "Ihlamurlar Altında" in 2005, where she portrayed the lead role alongside Bulent Inal. Her next television project was the series "Asi", which aired from 2007 to 2009. In this series, Tuba once again played the lead role, alongside the famous actor Murat Yıldırım. In 2010, she appeared as Hasret, a Romani woman, in the television series "Gönülçelen". The same year, she portrayed Esmah in the film "Ask Your Heart".
From 2014 to 2015, she starred in the series "Dirty Money and Love". In July 2015, Tuba appeared in the short film "Memories of the Wind". In September of the same year, she appeared in two more films: "The Forest" as Zeynep and "A Narrow Dress" as Helin. In April 2016, Tuba starred in the film "Red Istanbul". In July, she appeared in the short film "Yet".
Since August 2016, Tuba has been starring in the series "Brave and Beautiful", where she is partnered with Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ.
Personal Life
In 2005, Tuba started a romantic relationship with her co-star in the series "Ihlamurlar Altında", Bulent Inal. However, they broke up in 2007. During the filming of "Asi", she met cinematographer and director Sami Saydan. The couple started dating in 2008, but their relationship ended in 2010.
On July 28, 2011, Tuba married actor Onur Saylak in Paris. Their romantic relationship began on the set of the series "Gönülçelen". On January 19, 2012, Tuba gave birth to twins, Maya and Toprak. In October 2016, Tuba filed for divorce from her husband.
