American Rapper Tyga
Tyga, whose real name is Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, was born on November 19, 1989, in Compton, California. He comes from a family with Vietnamese and Jamaican roots. Tyga gained attention with his debut single "Coconut Juice," which he recorded with his cousin Travis McCoy. He signed contracts with the record labels Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records, and Universal Republic Records.

Music Career
Tyga released his first independent album, "No Introduction," on June 10, 2008, under Decaydance Records. One of the songs from this album, "Diamond Life," was featured in video games such as "Need for Speed: Undercover" and "Madden NFL 2009," as well as the film "Fighting" in 2009. His second studio album, "Careless World: Rise of the Last King," was released on February 21, 2012. This album showcased Tyga's growth and transition to a different rap style, which he had already demonstrated on the compilation album "We Are Young Money."

Relationship with Blac Chyna
In October 2011, Tyga met urban model and stripper Blac Chyna. She starred as the main love interest in Tyga's music video for the song "Rack City." In March 2012, rumors began circulating that Blac Chyna was pregnant with Tyga's child. The rumors were confirmed in July when the couple was spotted in an amusement park trying to hide Blac Chyna's growing baby bump. Their son, King Cairo Stevenson, was born on October 16, 2012. On the same day, the new parents purchased a mansion in Calabasas, California, for $6.5 million. They both got tattoos of their son's name. In December 2012, Blac Chyna and Tyga confirmed their engagement.

Personal Life and Controversies
In December 2012, there were disputes about Tyga's upbringing and the environment he grew up in. He claimed to have been raised in a disadvantaged area of Compton. However, in 2008, during an appearance on the show "Bustas," Tyga stated that he grew up in a lavish home in Valley, California, where his parents drove Range Rovers and a Mercedes CL 600. He also mentioned that his nickname, Tyga, came from his mother calling him Tiger Woods.
Despite facing criticism and protests from critics, including some Harvard students, Tyga performed at the "Yardfest" concert at Harvard University in the spring of 2013. He has released numerous mixtapes throughout his career, with his debut mixtape "Young On Probation" gaining attention. Tyga also collaborated with Chris Brown on the mixtape "Fan of a Fan," which spawned the hit song "Deuces" and earned a Grammy nomination.
Recent Work
Tyga's third studio album, "Hotel California," was released on April 9, 2013. The first single from the album, "Dope," featured rapper Rick Ross and was released on December 25. Prior to the release of his third album, Tyga delighted his fans with the mixtape "187." He also released a second "Fan of a Fan" mixtape with Chris Brown.
Tyga continues to make waves in the music industry and has established himself as a prominent figure in the rap scene.
