Biography of Uliana Kaishyeva

Uliana Kaishyeva is a Russian biathlete who was born into a sporty family. Her parents, Nikolay Kaishyev and Lyudmila Kaishyeva, are both skiers. Uliana followed in their footsteps and began practicing biathlon at the age of 10 under the guidance of Honored Coach of the Udmurt Republic, Alexey Fedorovich Korotaev, at the biathlon department of the RSDYUSHOR in Mozhga.

In 2008, Uliana continued her training in Izhevsk under the supervision of Honored Coach of the Udmurt Republic, A.L. Bogdanov. The following year, she joined the youth team of Russia and trained under coaches N.P. Savinova and A.I. Suslov. Her younger sister, Nastya, also practices biathlon under Alexey Korotaev.

Uliana's talent and dedication led her to achieve remarkable success in the sport. In 2012, she became the champion in the pursuit race and won a bronze medal in the sprint at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck. In 2013, she became the absolute world champion among girls under 19 years old. She also won two European championships in biathlon among junior girls under 21.

Uliana has participated in stages of the World Cup and has proven herself as a competitive athlete. She won a bronze medal in the sprint and became the champion in the team event at the III World Winter Military Games in Sochi.

In addition to her athletic pursuits, Uliana pursued her education. In 2012, she enrolled in the Udmurt State University to study tourism organization management.

Uliana Kaishyeva's achievements in biathlon and her dedication to both her sport and education make her a remarkable athlete and individual.
