Early Life
Uteu Kudaibbergenov was born in 1901 into a large family in the village of Kairat, present-day Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan. From a young age, he worked as a shepherd.
The Great Famine and Move to Kazakhstan
In the 1930s, during the Great Famine in Central Asia, Kudaibbergenov's family relocated to the Irgiz district of Aktobe oblast in Kazakhstan.
Political Beginnings
In 1932, Kudaibbergenov joined the Communist Party. He served in various positions in the Irgiz district cooperative society and as chairman of the Zhabasak rural council from 1934 to 1942.
Wartime and Postwar Era
After the outbreak of World War II, Kudaibbergenov worked as chairman of the Irgiz district planning commission from 1939 to 1942 and as chairman of the Uzynkol rural council in Aktobe oblast from 1945 to 1946.
Chairman of Kolkhoz "Karasai"
In 1946, Kudaibbergenov was appointed chairman of the Karasai collective farm in the Irgiz district of Aktobe oblast. Under his leadership, the farm exceeded its production targets and doubled its livestock population.
Recognition and Awards
Kudaibbergenov's achievements earned him the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1948 and two Orders of Lenin. He was also elected as a deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for two terms.
Legacy
Throughout his career in agriculture, Uteu Kudaibbergenov made significant contributions to the development of collective farming in Kazakhstan and played a leading role in increasing agricultural production and improving the lives of rural communities.
