In 1903, Huml relocated to Zagreb, Croatia, where he became a prominent figure in the city's musical scene. He served as concertmaster of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and was a dedicated teacher at the Zagreb Academy of Music.
Founding the Zagreb Quartet
