Valerie Bertinelli is a famous American film and television actress. Her most well-known role was Barbara Cooper, the daughter of Bonnie Franklin, in the long-running series "One Day at a Time".
Early Life
Valerie Anne Bertinelli was born on April 23, 1960, in the small town of Wilmington. She grew up in a wealthy and influential family, as her parents were the heads of the company "General Motors". Valerie had an older brother who tragically passed away at the age of 17 months, before she was born. She currently has two younger brothers. She spent her childhood in Claymont and Clarkson, and later, her family moved to Van Nuys, California. There, Valerie began attending the Tammy Lynn School of Art. In 1978, she enrolled in Granada Hills High School, but did not receive a higher education. Currently, she is attempting to obtain her diploma by taking the necessary exams.
Personal Life
Valerie Bertinelli is a believer and was raised in old Catholic traditions. Her personal life has been quite tumultuous. She had romantic relationships with Hollywood personalities, including Steven Spielberg and Scott Colomby. In April 1981, she announced her wedding to Eddie Van Halen.
