The Strongest Girl on Earth - Varya Akulova
Varya Akulova, the strongest girl on the planet, is a weightlifter with an unyielding will, a transparent body, and thread-like veins. Despite her muscles being invisible, she has been twice confirmed as the strongest girl on the planet by the Guinness World Records.

Early Life and Training
Varya Akulova was born on January 11, 1992, in Kryvyi Rih. She began practicing weightlifting and circus acrobatics at just two weeks old, using a method specially developed by her father, Yuri Akulov.

Varya's father, Yuri, who is also her coach, always knew he would have a "mighty girl." He carefully chose his wife, finding her in Arkhangelsk while performing with his circus studio. Varya made her debut in powerlifting at the age of four, lifting a weight of 92.5 kilograms. Her most recent powerlifting achievement is 270 kilograms.
Challenges and Success
At one point, Varya's parents faced opposition from their city. They were targeted in newspapers, labeled as fascists, and accused of mistreating their daughter and potentially causing her to become disabled due to the strain on her bones. However, after twelve years of fighting, the Akulovs emerged victorious. Doctors apologized, and the authorities and police left them alone. This came after Varya proved to be one of the few children in the environmentally hazardous city who never fell ill.
At the age of ten, Varya joined a circus, where she, as the strongest but underage performer, earned less than $10 per show. The Akulovs saved this money, eventually using it to buy an apartment with a loan.
One of Varya's most impressive acts was lifting a platform with ten men weighing a total of 700 kilograms while on all fours. She has since become a recurring participant in Ukrainian Guinness shows organized by Olympic champion Lilia Podkopayeva, who is also a weightlifting master athlete. Varya is currently studying at the Olympic Reserve School at Kryvyi Rih Technical University, where she is coached by Ukraine's Honored Coach Igor Poslushny.
A Unique Athlete
Varya's father is determined to ensure that she remains a unique athlete. He constantly adjusts her training to maintain a muscular yet feminine figure. "She is not your typical weightlifter, from her physique to her girlish activities. I constantly modify her workouts to shape Varya's figure to be muscular yet feminine, curvaceous. Most female weightlifters focus only on their legs and shoulders, but other aspects are overlooked," he says concernedly.
Varya receives countless letters from fans of women's athletics. Recently, she received a letter from Patrick Stevenson, an American writer and screenwriter of adventure and fantasy films. He informed her that he is working on a screenplay that includes a role for Varya.
