Biography of Vera Karetinkova

Vera Karetinkova is a Belarusian singer who gained recognition as a finalist on the show "Narodny Artist" and as the winner of the Belarusian-Russian interuniversity competition "Queen of Spring-2004". Born into an ordinary family, Vera did not receive a formal musical education, which initially hindered her musical career as she was not allowed to participate in many music competitions.

Awards and Achievements

In 2004, Vera won the Belarusian-Russian interuniversity competition for grace and artistic skill, "Queen of Spring-2004". In September-November of the same year, she became a finalist on the show "Narodny Artist-2". In 2005, she participated in the project "At the Crossroads of Europe" with the composition "Mechtay".

In March 2008, Vera reached the finals of the international European music competition "Hello, Jurmala!". In July 2009, she was a participant on the television show "Battle of the Titans".

Collaborations and Musical Programs

Vera has been a member of the orchestra conducted by Mikhail Finberg and has participated in various music programs such as "Silver Gramophone" and "Song of the Year". She has also collaborated with composer Leonid Shirin.
