Early Life and Education

Born in Ukraine, the renowned poet and literary critic completed his education at Dnipropetrovsk State University in 1962.

Literary Career

As a senior editor for the literary publishing house "Promin," the writer diligently edited over 200 books during his 25-year tenure. Subsequently, he assumed the role of Head of the Department of Ukrainian Literature at the state university and later taught at Dnipropetrovsk National University's Literature Department.

Honors and Recognition

Throughout his career, the poet was bestowed with numerous accolades, including the Honorary Certificate from the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, and the Honor Roll "For Achievements in the Development of Culture and Arts." He also received the prestigious Grigory Petrovsky and Andrii Malyshko Awards.
