Early Life and Acting Career

Victor Kulakov was born in Moscow on March 28 (April 10), 1910. After graduating from high school in 1927, he studied acting at the Moscow Film School named after Tchaikovsky (1927-1929). During this time, he began appearing in films at various studios in the USSR.

Wartime and Recognition

During World War II, Kulakov actively participated in film production at the Central United Film Studio in Alma-Ata. His contributions were recognized in 1944 when he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR.

Post-War Career and Theater

From 1945, Victor Kulakov joined the Film Actors' Theater-Studio. Notable performances include his roles as Arthur in "Island of Peace" and Ignat Fomin in "The Young Guard." In 1959, he moved to the Gorky Film Studio, where he worked until 1974.

Awards and Legacy
