Early Life and Education

Viktor Petrovich Eliseev was born in Moscow on June 9, 1950, to parents Peter Fedorovich and Serafima Evgrafovna. He graduated from the State Music and Pedagogical College named after the October Revolution (1965-1969) and later from the Gnessin State Music and Pedagogical Institute in choral conducting (1969-1976).

Military Service and Choral Career

Eliseev began his military service in the internal troops of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) in 1969. After serving as a private soldier, he became the choirmaster of his unit's amateur ensemble.

In 1973, Eliseev joined the newly formed Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the MVD Internal Troops. He initially served as a choirmaster (1973-1977), then as chief choirmaster, deputy head of the ensemble, and conductor (1977-1985). Since 1985, he has been the ensemble's director and artistic director.

Artistic Excellence and International Success

Under Eliseev's leadership, the ensemble has achieved artistic excellence, receiving the title "Academic" in 1993. With its exceptional mastery of choir and orchestra, the ensemble has made significant contributions to the aesthetic education of the troops' personnel and the general public.

The ensemble has performed extensively both domestically and internationally, showcasing Russian national art in countries such as Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, North Korea, Italy, Germany, Greece, Brazil, Mexico, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, China, and Israel.

Eliseev's dedication to his art goes beyond the concert stage. He has organized concerts in hospitals, personally performing for wounded soldiers and supporting their psychological recovery.
