Carlberg's Accomplishments

Carlberg's exceptional shooting skills earned him numerous accolades throughout his career. A Swedish marksman, he participated in three Summer Olympic Games, becoming a champion and medalist.

Early Olympic Success

At the 1908 London Olympics, Carlberg competed in both pistol and rifle events. He secured a silver medal in the team rifle competition alongside his twin brother, Erik Carlberg.

Stockholm Olympics Triumph

The 1912 Stockholm Games proved to be even more fruitful for Carlberg. He emerged as a double gold medalist in the small-bore rifle shooting at a disappearing target, both individually and as part of the team. Additionally, he claimed victory in the team duel pistol shooting and two silver medals in the free pistol and small-bore rifle team events.

World Championship Honors

In 1913, Carlberg participated in the World Championships in Camp Perry, USA. He achieved individual gold in the 50-meter pistol event and a team bronze medal.

Olympic Legacy

Carlberg's final Olympic appearance came at the 1924 Paris Games. He earned a silver medal in the rapid-fire pistol shooting at 25 meters, cementing his place as an accomplished marksman.
