Ville Liimatainen is a renowned Finnish musician, singer, composer, and frontman of the rock band Flinch. Born into a musical family, his two older brothers are Jonne Aaron, leader of Negative, and Tommi Liimatainen, Negative's manager.

Early Life and Influx into Music

Growing up, Ville pursued hockey but eventually discovered his passion for music. In 2003, he formed his own rock band, Flinch. The band's first single, "Tuulet," reached number 3 on the Finnish charts in 2005, followed by "Liikaa" hitting number 2 in 2006. In that same year, Flinch released their debut album, "Kuvastin."

Flinch's Hiatus and Resurgence

After a brief hiatus in 2007, Flinch regrouped and released their first single as a reformed band, "Taivas Tahtiverhoineen," in January 2008. A second single, "1986," paved the way for their sophomore album, "Irrallaan," produced by Ville's brother Jonne Aaron. In 2008, Ville was called up for mandatory military service, putting Flinch's activities on hold.

Post-Military Career and Evolution of Flinch

Upon Ville's return from the army, Flinch resumed their musical pursuits with a slightly evolved image. Today, the band actively tours Finland and Germany, captivating fans with energetic performances and captivating melodies. Flinch continues to leave an indelible mark on the Finnish and German rock music scenes.
