Biography of Vitaliy Kozlovsky

Vitaliy Kozlovsky, the Ukrainian pop singer, was born on March 6, 1985, in Lviv, Ukraine. He attended Lviv Secondary School No. 69 from 1991 to 2002. At the age of 8, in 1993, Vitaliy started his journey in dance.

In 2002, he joined the modern ballet group "Zhittya" (Life), which collaborated with the famous singer Ruslana. Vitaliy's talent shone through as he became a prominent member of the group.

His passion for music led him to enroll in the Journalism Faculty at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in 2002. During his time there, he gained recognition when he won the television show "Karaoke na Maydane" (Karaoke on the Square) in Lviv in October 2002. It was during this show that he captivated the entire country with his performance of the song "Vona" (She) by the Lviv band "Plach Eremii" (Lament of Jeremiah).

Vitaliy's breakthrough came in 2003 when he won the first season of the music TV project "Shans" (Chance) with his song "Shekspir napishet ne pro nas" (Shakespeare Won't Write About Us). His talent continued to be recognized when he participated in the "Novaya Volna" (New Wave) contest in 2004.

In 2008, Vitaliy Kozlovsky was crowned the "Best Singer of Ukraine" at the Ukrainian Music Awards. He achieved further acclaim when he became the first artist to record the official anthem for the Ukrainian Olympic team titled "Chempiony" (Champions).

His accomplishments did not only revolve around music. Vitaliy showcased his versatile skills by winning the bronze medal in the dance show "Tantsi so zvezdami" (Dancing with the Stars). He also secured the third place in the international competition "Eilat-2007".

In recognition of his contributions to the arts, Vitaliy Kozlovsky was awarded the title of "Honored Artist of Ukraine" by the President of Ukraine on January 16, 2009 (Decree No. 26/2009).

In 2010, he ventured into voice acting and voiced the character Ken in the Ukrainian dubbing of the animated film "Toy Story 3".
