Early Life and EducationVladimir Danylets was born in 1960 in the countryside of Ukraine, to a family of intellectuals. From a young age, music captivated his interest. He attended the Kyiv Variety and Circus Arts College, where he met Vladimir Moiseenko during entrance exams.
Career Beginnings
After graduating, Danylets embarked on a career as a comedian in "Ukrkontsert," a Ukrainian concert organization. During his tours with concert groups, Danylets and Moiseenko formed a comedic duo in 1987, with the collaboration of director Yevgeny Perebiynos.
Rise to Fame
In 1991, Danylets and Moiseenko's sketch "Krol'ki Prileteli" ("The Rabbits Arrived") gained immense popularity on television. Their performances, featuring a blend of Ukrainian and Russian humor, captivated audiences. The duo garnered recognition, participating in numerous concerts and shows.
Accolades and Legacy
In 1991, Danylets and Moiseenko won the Arkady Raikin Cup at the "More Smekha" International Comedy Festival in Riga. Danylets was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine in 1996. His comedic genius continues to inspire and entertain audiences to this day.
Personal Life
Danylets married once and had two daughters: Lilia in 1980 and Angelina in 1992. Angelina, following in her father's footsteps, pursued a degree in the Variety and Circus Arts College in 2007, aspiring to become a comedian in the conversation genre.
