- Held various positions in party committees after graduating from Minsk Higher Party School.

District and Oblast Leadership:

- Served as chairman of the Nesvizh District Executive Committee.

- Deputy chairman of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee (1998-2000).

Deputy Prime Minister:

- Appointed as First Deputy Chairman of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee on April 27, 2000.

- Promoted to Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus on September 24, 2001.

- Overseen social welfare, science, and trade.
