Early Life and EducationVladimir Nikolaevich Druzhinin was born on August 12, 1955, in Dunilovo, Yaroslavl Oblast. He graduated from Yaroslavl State University in 1978 with qualifications in psychology and biology.
Academic Career
Druzhinin obtained a Candidate of Psychological Sciences degree in 1982 and a Doctor of Psychological Sciences degree in 1991. In 1993, he became Professor of the Department of Psychology of Labor and Engineering Psychology at the Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAN). He lectured on "Psychodiagnostics of General Cognitive Abilities" at Moscow University.
