In 1939, Moskvin made his cinematic debut in Vsevolod Pudovkin's "Minin and Pozharsky," portraying the faithful retainer Stepan Khoroshev. After his distinguished run with the Vakhtangov Theatre, he returned to his alma mater as a professor at the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute.
