Early Life and Education
Vladimir Savyonak was born in Minsk, Belarus, in 1959. He graduated from the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute with a degree in automotive engineering.
Banking Career
In 1992, Savyonak entered the banking sector as the Chief Economist of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus. By 1998, he had become a member of the Bank's Board of Directors.
International Experience
In 1998, Savyonak was recruited by the Cypriot company Asbisc Enterprises PLC, a global IT distributor, as its Treasury Director.
Entrepreneurship and Consulting
In 2002, Savyonak established Personal Capital, a financial consulting firm. He also authored a series of books on personal finance, investments, and budgeting.
Education and Outreach
Savyonak has served as a lecturer at the Plekhanov Economic University in Minsk and runs a "School for Financial Consultants." He regularly conducts seminars on private investing in Belarus and Russia.
