Early Life and Education

Vladimir Gennadievich Shekhov was born on July 22, 1963, in the village of Daryino in the Staritsky District of the Kalinin Oblast. In 1965, his family moved to Nizhny Novgorod, where he spent his formative years. He graduated from Secondary School No. 23 with a gold medal in 1980 and went on to excel at the Radiophysics Department of Gorky State University (now Lobachevsky University), where he earned a degree with honors in 1986.

Career in Science and Invention

After graduating from university, Shekhov worked as a research physicist at the Institute of Applied Physics of the USSR Academy of Sciences (now the Institute of Applied Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences), conducting theoretical and experimental research in the fields of nonlinear oscillations and waves, as well as deterministic chaos. He also taught theoretical physics at the Radiophysics Department of Gorky State University. He holds several patents and applications for patents for inventions in the areas of sports, games, and advertising. In 1992-1993, he was instrumental in the production of electronic sculptures based on the principle of magnetic levitation.

Television Programs

Between 1993 and 1994, Shekhov created and hosted approximately 100 television programs on Nizhny Novgorod television, which explored the premise that the world is full of wonders that remain hidden from people due to the distractions of daily life.

Martial Arts Theory

Shekhov is a renowned martial arts theorist. His universal formula for combat, which describes the algorithm for achieving victory in any confrontation and helps individuals develop a fighting mindset, is featured in the encyclopedia "Combat and Sports Martial Arts." He also devised a psychological method for overcoming the fear of death using the password "Victory or Death!" which enables individuals to instantly enter a state of combat rage.

Literary and Musical Pursuits

Shekhov is the author of the book "Thai Boxing for Your Pleasure," which is based on the formula of combat. He has also filmed educational videos titled "Lomovy Boxing" and "Thai Boxing for Beginners." He has written a poetry collection entitled "Feast of Love (Poetry of Passion, Logos, and Eros)," which includes an erotic poem of the same name.

Political Activism

Shekhov has initiated several human rights lawsuits and complaints, including a challenge to the Russian national anthem on the grounds that it violates the Constitution of the Russian Federation, a lawsuit against the candidacy of Vladimir Putin in the 2007 State Duma elections, and a complaint against the Russian Orthodox Church regarding its compliance with Russian law.

Other Notable Works

Shekhov is the author of the first textbook in the former USSR on playing backgammon, titled "Backgammon: From Beginner to Champion." He has also composed and sang songs and played multiple musical instruments.
