Formation and Early Success

In 2010, renowned Ukrainian producer and artist Alexei Potapenko ("Potap") partnered with Irina Gorova to launch a new musical project. They sought to create a modern pop duo featuring Alexei Zavgorodniy ("Positive"), an established collaborator of Potap's, and a female vocalist.

Through an online and in-person casting process, Nadezhda Dorofeeva, a young singer, emerged as the perfect fit. On November 17, 2010, the group "Vremya i Steklo" ("Time and Glass") debuted with their first single and music video, "Tak Vypala Karta."

The song and video quickly gained popularity, garnering millions of views on YouTube. "Vremya i Steklo" followed up with a string of successful singles and music videos, including "Lyubvi Tochka Net" (2011), "Serebryanoe More" (2011), and "Garmoshka" (2012).

Rise to Prominence

In 2013, "Vremya i Steklo" embarked on their first major tour, "MOZGI TUR," alongside Potap and other projects from Potapenko's production company. The group also became the hosts of the popular Ukrainian music show "UA TOP 10" from 2013 to 2014.

Their breakout hit came in 2015 with the single "Imia 505." The song and its music video became viral sensations, with over 50 million views on YouTube within three weeks. It was named the most popular music video of the year in Ukraine and was recognized by "Afisha-Vozdukh" magazine as one of the top 10 songs that "will get stuck in your head for a long time."

Continued Success and Final Tour

Throughout the rest of their career, "Vremya i Steklo" continued to release popular songs, including "Pesnya 404," "Ritm 122," and "Opasno 220." They also became judges on the Ukrainian version of "The Voice Kids" in 2017 and 2019, and released their debut album, "VISLOVO," in 2019.

On March 11, 2020, the group announced their decision to disband and embark on a final tour titled "Final Titles." The tour was scheduled to conclude with a concert in Kyiv on September 11, 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the concert was ultimately rescheduled to December 2, 2020.
