Early Life and Education
Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich Murugov was born in Tver, Russia. He graduated from the Tver Suvorov Military School and subsequently attended the Penza Higher Military Artillery Engineering School, graduating with a degree in engineering.
Media Career
Murugov entered the media industry in 1997 and has since held various positions in television production. In 2001, he became a producer for the REN TV channel, and in 2005, he moved to the STS channel as a producer.
General Director of STS
In 2008, Murugov was appointed General Director of the STS channel. Under his leadership, the channel underwent a significant transformation, including a rebranding in 2012. The changes included a new logo, expanded broadcast network, improved video quality, and a revised programming strategy.
