American Actress Wendy Wagner
Wendy Wagner was an American actress, best known for her roles in the television series "The Green Hornet" and "Rio Conchos." She was born on February 26, 1940, in the United States. Wendy's father, John H. Wagner, was a professional military man and also taught swimming and diving courses. Her mother, Rudy Arnold Wagner, was an elite skier who dedicated a lot of time to sports.

Early Life and Career Beginnings
Due to her father's constant transfers, Wendy lived in almost all states of the United States. It was her frequent moves that helped her to debut in the film industry. While swimming in Florida, Wendy caught the eye of Billy Wilder, who was filming "Some Like It Hot" at the time. Wilder invited her for auditions, but her parents prohibited her from acting until she finished school. After graduating, Wendy returned to work with Wilder and successfully auditioned for roles. However, she declined the offered role in the film "The Apartment."

Modeling Career and Television Appearances
For a while, Wagner worked as a model and had the opportunity to travel extensively around the world. In 1959, she made her television debut in an episode of the series "Wagon Train." Later, while in the Bahamas, Wendy first worked as a stunt double in underwater scenes for the film "Sea Hunt" and then appeared in the television series "The Aquanats." It is also known that Wendy Wagner doubled for Joanne Dru in the 1960 film "September Storm."

Personal Life and Later Career
In December 1960, Wendy Wagner appeared on the television show "What's My Line." During her work in television, she met Courtney Brown, a diving specialist, and they got married in 1960. Wendy was an excellent swimmer and scuba diver, and she also had a passion for surfing. The couple had a daughter named Tiffany, but their marriage ended in divorce.

After her divorce, Wendy Wagner secured lead roles in several successful projects for 20th Century Fox, including "Rio Conchos," "The Green Hornet," and "Rosemary's Baby." Despite her leading roles, Wendy was not opposed to taking supporting roles and could often be seen in guest appearances on television series. Over time, she gradually faded from the American press's spotlight and was only mentioned again after her death. Wendy Wagner passed away on February 26, 1997, from cancer.
