He was born in 1982 in Seattle, Washington, into a Jewish family. From a young age, Wil had a passion for music and was particularly influenced by bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, HIM, and The Misfits.

Joining Aiden

In 2003, Wil joined the emo band 'Aiden' as their bass guitarist. However, it was soon decided that Nick Wiggins would play the bass, and Wil would focus solely on vocals. The band derived their name 'Aiden' from the horror film 'The Ring'.

Early Success

Aiden's first concert took place in a pizza parlor in downtown Seattle, and in 2004, they released their debut album titled 'A Split of Nightmares'. That same year, they also released their second album, 'Our Gangs Dark Oath'.
