A Chinese Man Who Gave New Homes to the Whole Village

It was just an ordinary poor village in southern China, but one day a real miracle happened - old shacks were demolished right before the eyes of the astonished villagers, and in their place, modern and comfortable low-rise buildings sprung up like mushrooms after rain. The grateful residents couldn't believe their luck as they were given fully furnished apartments, completely free of charge. And all of this was the work (and wallet) of one man, whom the villagers still remember as a little boy, the son of their fellow villagers. Who could have imagined back then that the boy, named Xiong, would grow up to become a millionaire, and one day generously repay all the villagers for the kindness they showed towards him and his family...

Biography of Xiong Shuihua

Xiong Shuihua was born in the village of Xiongkeng, near the city of Xinyu in southern China. Today, at the age of 54, Xiong has grown up and become a very wealthy man, but thoughts of his hometown have always been with him. He remembers his parents, whom he describes as incredibly kind people, but it's not just his childhood home that evokes warm memories in the businessman's heart. Every villager, whether close or distant neighbors, was amazingly kind-hearted and compassionate. Looking back on his childhood, Xiong realizes how much the support of all these good people meant to his family.

When the time came, Xiong left his native village and decided to start a business. He made his first serious money in the construction industry and later switched to steel production. As time went on, Xiong's projects became bigger and more ambitious, and his career flourished. However, he always found time to return to his village to visit his family. Each time he visited, he immersed himself in the same atmosphere of kindness and community spirit. And on one beautiful day, Xiong Shuihua decided to repay kindness with kindness.

One day, bulldozers arrived in the village, followed by tractor engines and trucks filled with building materials. The village was transformed before everyone's eyes - old shacks were replaced with new, modern, and comfortable low-rise houses. Families, unable to believe their luck, timidly crossed the thresholds of their new homes, while Xiong hastily signed bills. All of this was a gift - an incredibly generous gift that cost Xiong... well, does it really matter to know the cost of a gift? Of course not!

So, Xiong provided 76 families of his fellow villagers with luxury apartments in the new low-rise buildings. He personally thanked 18 families by constructing magnificent individual villas for them. In addition, he ensured that all of them would receive free three-course meals for the rest of their lives.

"I always repay my debts," said the philanthropist in an interview, "and I wanted to make sure that the people who helped me and my family received their kindness back." The villagers remember that the Shuihua family was very honorable, and many speak fondly of Xiong's parents. According to the villagers, it is because of them that such a wonderful son grew up.

In addition to the already built houses, Xiong assured the villagers that from that moment on, he would personally ensure that they never lacked anything.
