Yakov Yakubov, a Russian businessman, is the owner of the "Korona" and "Golden Palace" casinos, the "Praga" restaurant, the "Eliseevsky" gourmet store in the center of Moscow, and the "Moskvichka" department store on Novy Arbat. Early Life and Family
Yakov Yakubov was born on September 8, 1948, in the village of Krasnaya Sloboda, Azerbaijan. He comes from a mountainous Jewish background. Yakov Yakubov has several brothers who are also businessmen, including Tofik Melik-Sadykovich Sadykov, the founder of several construction companies in Moscow, such as ZAO "Europa-Kapital."
Business Ventures
In 1990, Yakov Yakubov became the founder of AOZT "Inzhstroyservis" under the Russian Association "Rosavtoservis." He relocated to Moscow from Crimea no later than 1993.
Yakov Yakubov controls the offshore company "Crownline Limited," registered in Cyprus, and was the former head of the Moscow representative office of "Crownline Limited." He is also a co-founder of the construction company LLC "Livardis" along with Sholomo Kaikov.
