Early Life and Career
Alexander Hleb Alexandrovich Tigorev (born 29 December 1980) is a Belarusian footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Belarusian national team and Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow. Tigorev began his football career at the DYuSSh in Zhodzina, Belarus, where he was coached by Leonid Khripach.
Club Career
Dinamo Minsk (2001-2007)In 2001, Tigorev started playing for Dinamo-2 Minsk before making his debut for the senior team in 2002. He spent six years with Dinamo, winning the Belarusian Championship medals of all three denominations, as well as the Belarusian Cup.
Metalurh Zaporizhzhia (2007-2011)
In 2007, Tigorev moved to Metalurh Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine. During his time there, he made over 100 appearances and scored his only goal for the club in a match against Illichivets on 2 August 2009.
Tom Tomsk (2011)
In 2011, Tigorev signed for Tom Tomsk in the Russian Premier League on a 2.5-year contract. He made his debut in a 0-2 away defeat to Volga Nizhny Novgorod on 14 March 2011. Despite some initial success, he suffered a serious knee injury in October 2011, which ruled him out for at least six months.
Lokomotiv Moscow (2011-Present)
On 29 December 2011, Tigorev joined Lokomotiv Moscow as a free agent, signing a 3.5-year contract.
International Career
Tigorev represented Belarus at the youth level, making 15 appearances for the U-21 team between 2004 and 2006. He made his senior international debut in a friendly match against Latvia on 12 November 2005. He has participated in the qualifying rounds for the UEFA European Championships in 2008 and 2012.
