Early Life and EducationYang Ge, whose surname is often mistaken for her first name, was born on September 7, 1988, in Beijing, China. Her mother, a former singer, instilled a love of music in her daughter from an early age. However, having failed to sustain her career in the entertainment industry, she cautioned Ge against pursuing a creative path.
Despite her childhood dream of becoming a "Little Mermaid" actress, Ge chose a more practical path and pursued a degree in translation in Tula, Russia. This decision gave her access to affordable education and a life-changing experience.
Musical Journey
Despite her mother's reservations, Ge's musical talent blossomed. She appeared on Russia's "Minute of Fame" in 2010, impressing the judges with her rendition of Anna Herman's "Echo of Love."
