Early Career and Youth Olympic Games

In 2012, Paniot placed second in the Ukrainian Junior Championships, which allowed him to compete in the inaugural Winter Youth Olympic Games in Austria. He finished in the middle of the table in the individual competition but won a silver medal in the team event.

Continued Success and National Championships

In the following season, Paniot made his debut in the Junior Grand Prix, competed in the adult national championship, and participated in the Continental Youth Olympic Festival, where he won a silver medal. His next accomplishment came in the fall of 2014 when he won a bronze medal at the Junior Grand Prix in Germany and improved upon his previous achievements.
