Yu Ri Kim was born on August 29, 1989, in Seoul, South Korea. She began her professional career in the modeling business in 2007, participating in modeling competitions. Personal Loss
Tragedy struck Kim's life when her mother passed away from a heart attack in 2009. Then, in early 2011, she lost her father, who succumbed to cancer. After these devastating events, her grandmother remained as the only surviving family member.
