Early Life and Influences

Born Christian Ward in Chicago, Illinois, Yung Berg spent his youth in a rough neighborhood. At the age of 15, he developed a passion for rap music and began hanging out with older, more experienced rappers. However, his parents disapproved of his pursuits and sent him to Thompson Falls School, a boarding school in Montana.

Musical Beginnings

While at the boarding school, Berg was unable to listen to music or watch television. Upon his return to Chicago, he immersed himself in everything he had missed during his absence. He began writing and performing his own music, as well as collaborating with other artists.

Musical Success

Berg's debut single, "Sexy Lady," became a hit among rap fans. He continued to release successful music, both as a solo artist and as a songwriter for others. His unique skills and work ethic earned him the nickname "Boss."

Evolution of Rap Music

Yung Berg believes that music is constantly evolving, blending new trends with traditional elements. He sees rap music as a genre that embodies a true sense of individuality and creativity.

Promoting New Talent

In recent years, Berg has become actively involved in promoting new artists and music. He views this as a way to both further his own career and give back to the industry that has supported him.
