Born and raised in Georgia, Georgi Kinkladze developed a love for soccer from a young age, training with the youth team of FC Dinamo Sukhumi. In 1988, he made his professional debut for FC Torpedo Kutaisi, impressing with his skills and agility on the field.

In Torpedo Kutaisi, Kinkladze played as a forward and made a significant contribution to the team's victory in the 9th zone of the Second League of the USSR. He continued his impressive performance in FC Tskhumi, scoring four goals in 29 matches. During his time with Tskhumi, he also reached the final of the first independent Georgian Cup.
International Recognition and Ukrainian Adventure
Kinkladze's exceptional talent earned him a call-up to the Georgian national team in 1993. He made a single appearance, showcasing his abilities on the international stage. In the same year, he moved to Ukraine, joining FC Temp Shepetivka. Over three seasons, he played in 57 matches, scoring 8 goals.
