Yuriy Grunin is a Russian and Kazakhstani poet.Life in Zhezkazgan
Since 1955, Grunin has lived in the Kazakhstani city of Zhezkazgan. He participated in its construction, initially as a prisoner and later as an architect.
Artistic Pursuits
In addition to poetry, Grunin is an artist, creating wooden sculptures and illustrations for his own works. He is married with children, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
