Australian actress Yvonne Strahovski, born on July 30, 1982, in Maroubra, a suburb of Sydney, is best known to a wide audience for her role as Sarah Walker in the NBC comedy sci-fi series "Chuck," which premiered in September 2007. Before gaining popularity for her role in "Chuck," Strahovski appeared in Australian television series such as "Headland" and "Sea Patrol," as well as in films like "Gone," "Persons of Interest," and the horror film "The Canyon."
Early Career
In 2003, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts from NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art), which is part of the University of Sydney's contemporary arts program. Shortly after, she landed her first television role as Suzy in an episode of the eccentric Australian series "Double The Fist" in 2004. Her next television work was playing Freya Lewis in several episodes of the drama series "Headland," which aired on the 7th channel of Australian TV in 2007.
