Formation and Early Success

In 2006, hip-hop bands "Reflection" and "Smeshnye" joined forces in Donetsk, Ukraine, forming the acoustic duo "Zarisovka." Their collaboration on the song "Ne Plach" gained traction on a local radio station, leading to club performances.

Acoustic Breakthrough at Ekoart Festival

Despite losing their key composer in 2007, Zarisovka persevered and entered the hip-hop section of the Ekoart Festival. However, it was their hastily created acoustic duo that stole the show and emerged victorious.

Debut Album and Lineup Expansion

Inspired by their festival triumph, Oleg Kachurin and Artem Voytsekhovsky dedicated themselves to crafting their first album, "Solntse." It was released in January 2008 and consisted of 17 tracks. Around a year later, the lineup doubled in size with the addition of Pavel Klimov (trumpet) and Vyacheslav Ivanchenko (bongos).

Growing Recognition and Tour Dates

Zarisovka's unique blend of hip-hop and folk gained them comparisons to 5'nizza. Their second album, "Po Rolyam," was released in 2009, featuring guest rap verses by former member Sergei Zherdev. The band actively toured throughout Ukraine and Russia, refining their sound.

Jazz Influences and International Exposure

In 2010, Zarisovka expanded their sound even further by introducing drums, saxophone, double bass, and keys to their repertoire. They performed at a tribute concert for Bob Marley and shared the stage with renowned acts such as Orkestra Che and 5'nizza.
