Early Life and Club Career

Zeynal Zeynalov is an Azerbaijani footballer who played as a midfielder. He made his debut in the Azerbaijan Premier League for Baky Fəhləsi in the 1997/98 season, playing in two matches.

Rise to Prominence

From the 1999/00 season onwards, Zeynalov played for Dynamo Baku. In 2004, he moved to MKT-Araz (Imishli), where he spent three seasons and captained the team in the 2006/07 season. Due to a conflict with the team's head coach, Igor Nakonechny, Zeynalov left and signed a one-year contract with Neftchi Baku. However, he played only one match for the club and moved to Karvan Yevlakh during the winter break of the 2007/08 season.

Later Career

In 2008, Zeynalov played for Mughan Salyan. At the end of the first half of the 2008 Azerbaijan Premier League season, he was transferred to Baku's Standard. He spent two seasons with Standard before focusing solely on futsal.

National Team Appearances

Zeynalov was called up to the Azerbaijan national football team from 2003 to 2008. He made 13 appearances and scored one goal for the team, which came against Bahrain in a friendly match on October 15, 2008.

Beach Soccer Representation

Zeynalov was also called up to the Azerbaijan national beach soccer team for a training camp in Baku from April 10 to 17, 2009.
