Childhood and Early Life

On December 6, 1984, Zoya Baranovskaya was born in Kiev to Vladyslav Baranovsky. Baranovskaya has a sister named Yuliya, who graduated from Kiev Gymnasium No. 178 in 2001 and went on to study at the Alexander Bohomolets National Medical University.

Education and Theatrical Beginnings

Baranovskaya's passion for acting began from a young age, leading her to pursue drama at a theater studio alongside future colleague Marina Kuklina. After Kuklina's untimely passing in 2019, Baranovskaya penned a touching tribute: "I remember how I met you when you were a 15-year-old girl, head over heels in love with theater: 'Mom, buy me tickets to the theater instead of a new blouse.' I remember how you were always generous with compliments and how sincerely and with unbridled joy you would hug me when we met."

Continuing her pursuit of her dream, Baranovskaya obtained a degree in theater, film, and television from the Ivan Karpenko-Karyi University of Theater, Cinema, and Television. In 2013, she completed her second degree at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv's Institute of International Relations.

Film and Television Debut

2005 marked a significant year for Baranovskaya's career. She graduated with her first degree and made her film debut in the popular TV series "Mukhtar's Return." Her versatility was evident in various roles throughout the series' subsequent seasons.

Baranovskaya has graced the screens in numerous television shows and films, including "Spring in December," "The Sniffer," the "Female Doctor" series, and "By the Laws of Wartime," where she shared the screen with renowned actors such as Ekaterina Klimova and Alexander Pankratov-Cherny.

Theater and Personal Life

Baranovskaya has actively participated in the theater scene, having been a member of the "Free Theater" and "Atelier 16," founded by Lesya Tanyuk at the Ivan Karpenko-Karyi University of Theater, Cinema, and Television.

Baranovskaya prefers to keep her personal life out of the public eye. However, she has shared a glimpse into her family dynamics with a video of herself dancing with a young boy on New Year's Day 2021, which fans speculate is her son.

Current Projects

In 2021, Baranovskaya continues to delight audiences with her performances in the TV series "Unclosed Mission." Despite the tragic passing of "Bad Roads" producer Yuri Minzyanov in 2020, Baranovskaya remembers him fondly for his open and collaborative nature.
