Zoltán Djulai was born on September 12, 1964, in Vác, Hungary. The Hungarian sportsman embarked on his international career in 1986, where he secured his first victory at the World Championships in Montreal.

Olympic Triumphs

Djulai's career reached its zenith at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He emerged triumphant with two gold medals in the kayak singles 500m and kayak fours 1000m events. Four years later, at the Barcelona Games, he claimed two silver medals in the same disciplines.

Beyond his Olympic accolades, Djulai made a significant mark at the World Championships. He amassed a total of 14 medals, including six golds, four silvers, and four bronzes.
