Early Life and Domestic Career
Said Abdellahis an Egyptian attacking midfielder who plays for Al-Ahly in the Egyptian Premier League and the Egypt national team. He began his career with Ismaily, the club from his hometown. Abdellah made his debut for Ismaily in the Egyptian Premier League in 2003. In 2011, he transferred to Al-Ahly in Cairo.
Success with Al-Ahly
With Al-Ahly, Abdellah has achieved significant success. In 2012, he helped the team win the CAF Champions League. He also represented the club in the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan that year, playing in matches against Monterrey (Mexico), Corinthians (Brazil), and Sanfrecce Hiroshima (Japan). In 2013, Abdellah won the Egyptian Premier League title and the CAF Champions League again. He participated in the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco, playing against Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao (China) and Monterrey (Mexico).
International Career
Abdellah's international career began with the Egypt U20 team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in the Netherlands in 2005. He made his senior debut for Egypt in a 2010 World Cup qualification match against Malawi on June 14, 2008. His first international goal came in a 2018 World Cup qualification match against Chad on November 17, 2015.
Highlights with the Egypt National Team
In 2017, Abdellah was part of the Egypt team that finished runners-up at the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon. He played in matches against Morocco, Ghana, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Uganda. In the match against Uganda, Abdellah scored a goal.
