Early Career and Domestic Success

Abdiel Arroyo is a Panamanian footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Costa Rican club Alajuelense and the Panama national team. He began his career with Arabe Unido, making his debut in the Panamanian Championship on November 27, 2010, against Atletico Veragüense. Arroyo scored his first goal for the club on January 31, 2011, in a match against San Francisco. In 2012, he won the Panamanian championship with Arabe Unido, a feat he repeated in 2015.

International Debut and Gold Cup Success

In 2013, Arroyo represented Panama at the CONCACAF U-20 Championship. He made his senior international debut for Panama on August 7, 2014, in a friendly match against Peru. In 2015, he played a key role in Panama's bronze medal finish at the CONCACAF Gold Cup, appearing in matches against Haiti, Honduras, Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico, and the United States.

European and South American Experiences

In 2016, Arroyo joined Croatian club Split, but left six months later without scoring a goal. He then signed with Colombian side Deportes Tolima, making his debut in the Copa Mustang on July 25th. He scored his first goal for Tolima on August 8th against Millonarios. In 2017, he moved to Uruguayan club Danubio, scoring his first goal for the team on February 18th.

Loan to Alajuelense and Continued International Presence

In 2018, Arroyo was loaned to Costa Rican club Alajuelense, where he made his debut on February 15th. He has since played in multiple editions of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, scoring a goal in the 2017 tournament against Martinique. Arroyo was also part of Panama's squad for the 2016 Copa America, where he scored his first international goal against Chile.
