After graduating from the University of Dhaka and spending time in Australia, he returned to Dhaka in 2011. With no permanent job, he spent considerable time at the gym.
A Fitness Model Turned Actor
Sumon's journey in show business began when the owner of his gym suggested he try modeling. His portfolio caught the attention of friends in the industry, and he transitioned into the glamorous world of fashion. To fit the demands of modeling, he shed 10 kgs of weight.
Film Debut and Breakthrough Role
Sumon made his film debut in 2015 with "Anjan", where he played a villainous character named Rudra. However, his breakthrough role came in 2016 with "Dhaka Attack", in which he portrayed Ashfaque Hussain, a character that resonated deeply with audiences.
