Ada Lundver, a Soviet and Estonian actress and pop singer, was born on February 9, 1942, on the Estonian island of Hiiumaa.
Early Life and Career
In 1960, Lundver worked at the "Kommunar" leather and shoe factory in Tallinn. It was in 1961 that she began her career as an actress at the State Philharmonic of the Estonian SSR. She later completed the courses for pop artists at the Tallinn Philharmonic in 1964.
Acting and Singing Career
During the 1960s and early 1970s, Lundver appeared in numerous films and became one of the most famous Estonian actresses alongside Eve Kivi in the Soviet film industry. She showcased her talents not only on the silver screen but also as an accomplished pop singer, captivating audiences with her vocal abilities.
Marriage and Later Life
Lundver was married to the renowned Soviet Estonian actor Mikko Mikiver from 1971 to 1983. Their partnership brought them both happiness and success in their respective careers. However, on October 6, 2011, Lundver passed away in Tallinn. She was laid to rest at the Forest Cemetery in Tallinn, next to her husband.
