Adam Garcia is an Australian actor, director, tap dancer, and singer. He was born in 1973 in Wahroonga, New South Wales, to parents Jean Balharry and Fabio Garcia. His mother, Jean, is Australian, while his father, Fabio, is originally from Colombia. Jean Garcia is a retired physiotherapist. Adam attended Knox Grammar School and also trained in tap dancing at the Capital Dance Studio in Sydney, Australia.

Career
Adam Garcia initially studied chemistry and biology at the University of Sydney, but he dropped out after a year to participate in the Australian tour of the West End musical "Hot Shoe Shuffle" (1992-1993). In 1994, he performed in the same musical at the Queen's Theatre in London, and after its run, he continued his career in musicals in the British capital, including "Grease" and "Birdy". He gained significant success and recognition when he portrayed the role of Tony Manero in the musical "Saturday Night Fever" at the London Palladium, which ran for about a year. He was nominated for the Olivier Award for Best Musical Actor for his performance in this role.
Adam Garcia has also appeared in films such as "Wilde", "Coyote Ugly", "Bootmen", "Fascination", and "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days". He performed a dance number at the opening ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. As a singer, he contributed to the creation of new soundtracks for the musicals "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Hair" for That's Entertainment Productions.
Personal Life
From 1998 to 2001, Garcia was in a relationship with dancer Letitia Rae. From 2003 to 2004, he dated actress Amelia Warner. On March 26, 2015, Garcia married his longtime friend Natalie Chubin in London. Chubin previously worked as a senior marketing manager at PlayStation. The couple has a daughter and a son.
