Biography of Jesse Bradford
Early Life and FamilyJesse Bradford Watrouse, the only child of actors Terry Porter and Curtis Watrouse, was born on May 28, 1979, in Norwalk, Connecticut. His parents appeared in commercials, soap operas, and feature films. Jesse's mother played his "screen" mother in the thriller "Hackers" in 1995. His cousin, Jonathan Svec, is a member of the bands Splender and Edison, while his cousin Sarah Messer is a writer and poet.
Early Career
Jesse made his first television appearance at the age of eight months in a commercial for the brand "Q-Tip." Encouraged by his parents, he began his career as a model and actively auditioned for acting roles. He made his film debut in 1984, playing the son of Robert De Niro's character in the drama "Falling in Love." Jesse recalls working with De Niro fondly, stating that he spent time with the young cast outside of filming, participating in activities like going to the circus and the zoo. He credits De Niro for creating a comfortable and supportive environment for the young actors.
