Early Life and CareerAdam Wright, born on May 4, 1977, in Huntington Beach, California, is a professional American water polo player and one of the best drivers in the sport. Growing up in a sports-oriented family, Adam was introduced to water polo at a young age. His father, Steve, played water polo in the junior league, while his older brother, Randy, was a champion player for UCLA from 1993 to 1996. Adam's brothers also played for the UCLA Bruins, leading the team to multiple NCAA championships in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Adam received his education at Wilson High School in Long Beach, where he developed his skills in water polo and also excelled in baseball.
Achievements
Throughout his successful career, Adam Wright has earned numerous titles and accolades. In 2003, he and his team secured second place at the U.S. Cup held at Stanford. In the same year, he achieved 6th place at the FINA World Championships in Barcelona. In 2004, he won third place at the championships in Naples.
